When do you need to update an employee's tax code?
Your employees' tax codes may change if for example they were put on an emergency tax code, or their personal situation changes.
If an employee's tax code changes, we will update for you if you've automated your tax notices with us. If you haven't automated your tax notices with us or somehow have received a paper notification from HMRC, you can also manually update this in Onfolk.
To do this, you'll need admin access to your company's profile in Onfolk.

How to manually update a tax code in Onfolk
1. Go to the People tab
2. Click "Work & Pay"
3. Scroll down to the "Tax" box and click "Update"
4. Within the pop-up, update your employee's tax code
Click Save, and you're done!
